During that time he has had a primary focus on customers and the delivery of excellence in service and products. Prior to that he was a research chemist, worked in various operational roles. industrial sales and as a member and manager of a number of projects.

Robert is qualified with a BSc(Hons) in Chemistry. He has subsequently undertaken and completed a MBA in an effort to balance the reality of business with the theory of business management. He has also recently been accredited as a PRINCE2 Project Manager.

Robert by design has had experience across a number of industries in large and small organisations. These include manufacturing, supply chain, production line and batch manufacturing in the Chemical, Rubber, Building, Water and Mining industries. In all of these experiences he has developed his skills in R&D, product development, operations, sales, supply chain/logistics, HR and project management. This has enabled him to deliver results in a range of industries including Automotive OEM, the Industrial & Engineering sector, the building industry, the medical and dental profession, the food industry and the mining service sector.
